Whether Mother Russia is superior, and to what exactly, may be open to question, but a rather more pressing question is why this parade includes such impressively executed Sailor Moon cosplays.
Russian cosplay does seem to be coming along well, which is well evidenced by the relevant gallery.

In the photo is Lionel Lum – he created the whole Bumblebee costume. Wow!
This is a winner. A real winner. I wouldn’t mind putting on that costume and walk in a mall or something. Man, it’s just so awesome!
